Maths in the real world - Going Round and Round
This fun session is a play on words ‘going round and round’ with links to geometry, reasoning with numbers and a dip into history when 500 years ago people thought the world was flat. We look at:
- Geometric Logic with straight lines and circles
- Spacial game with colouring regions from doodling
- Number reasoning using regions and mazes

Hannah has a varied background in education working in a range of primary and junior schools. With over a decade of experience working in roles such as teaching assistant; teaching in a number of year groups and finishing her career as an assistant head and SEND coordinator. Hannah recognises the importance of enthusing pupils in STEM as well as supporting schools in using Maths-Whizz to drive learning outcomes.
